Our Story

CRQKTBOK was founded by a local gardening enthusiast based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, whose journey began with a series of frustrating personal experiences.

A few years ago, our founder set out to find the perfect planters for the herbs and hydrangeas in their backyard, only to be repeatedly disappointed: cheap plastic pots cracked under the Kentucky sun, beautiful ceramic designs were too heavy to move to the balcony, and many options had poorly designed drainage holes that caused root rot. They soon realized fellow gardeners faced the same dilemma—planters that were either stylish but impractical, or durable but aesthetically unappealing.

After struggling through multiple pot changes and replants, our founder decided to take matters into their own hands. Drawing on years of experience in the local building materials industry, they teamed up with like-minded friends to craft the ideal planter in their Bowling Green workshop. Our first design underwent six months of outdoor testing, enduring Kentucky’s heavy rains and sweltering summers. We refined the materials and drainage structure until it could securely support plants while seamlessly blending into any home or garden style.

Thus, CRQKTBOK was born.

We reject flashy yet useless designs and avoid cheap, mass-produced products. Our mission is to provide every gardening enthusiast with high-value planters tailored to everyday scenarios, making it easy for new plant parents to start their journey and giving experienced gardeners a reliable, worry-free choice. As a small, local brand, we also aim to share our passion for gardening and help more people find joy and comfort in growing plants.

Today, we still operate out of our small workshop in Bowling Green, focusing on refining every product with care. From material selection to packaging and shipping, every step is driven by our love of gardening and attention to detail.
